As a user of Swift Developer Portal, you will be able to create apps. When creating an app, this generates a key and secret pair that you can use to authenticate yourself to Swift APIs. Newly created apps are given the status Sandbox, which enables you to access the Sandbox environment of any product in your app.

You are responsible for securing your credentials on your premises and within your client applications. Application credentials are exchanged through the Basic Authentication Scheme in the Authorization Header. You will find more information in the Authentication section.

Create your app

1Sign in to your Swift Developer Portal account or Register. 2Navigate to My Apps. 3Click the + Create an app button. 4Enter a name for your app. 5Select the products you want to access.
