RBAC Roles

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is the entitlement that a security officer should assign to the certificate used to identify an application or API client. This authorises it to access a specific API service. Each API service has dedicated RBAC roles defined for Pilot and Live environments. Refer to API Guides to find out which RBAC roles you should use for the API of your interests.

The RBAC role for GPI API is swift.apitracker!p for Pilot and swift.apitracker for Live. Typically, the !p suffix is added to identify the Pilot environment.

Assign RBAC Role

The security officer will only see the services that the institution is subscribed to.

1Log in to the Online Operations Management (O2M) application accessible through MV-SIPN and click Role Management. 2Expand the node tree and click distinguished name (DN) created before. 3Search for subscribed service 4Expand the subscribed service and select the role in which you want to grant by having the check box checked. 5Click Save. 6Verify Roles Granted and click Sign.
