Channel Certificate

Learn how to create a channel certificate to authenticate your application with Swift

This option is only available if your institution is subscribed to the swift.channel technical service. If you can't see this option during the certificate creation process, please contact Swift Support.

A channel certificate is an encrypted, disk-based profile file that provides a means for Swift to authenticate the identity of an application, or to secure the connection between a client application and the Swift servers.

The next sections explain how to create a channel certificate using the SwiftNet PKI portal and how to import it into a keystore.
